Central High School’s varsity boys basketball team faced a pair of strong James River District opponents in its opening games of the 2019-20 season.

The Chargers visited Bluestone High School on Tuesday, Dec. 3, for their season opener and came home with a 64-26 defeat.

On Friday, Dec. 6, the Chargers returned to action at home against Buckingham County High School and fell 94-45.

After visiting Cumberland County High School on Tuesday, Dec. 10, Central (0-2) visits William Campbell High School on Wednesday, Dec. 11.
