The Kenston Forest School varsity girls basketball team hit the road for its first game in the Virginia Colonial Conference (VCC) Tournament, taking on host Blessed Sacrament Huguenot Catholic School.
The Lady Kavaliers were not able to prevail against the Lady Knights, losing 48-19 to bring their 2019-20 season to a close.
The Lady Knights were a team Kenston Forest had faced during the regular season. Blessed Sacrament topped the visiting Lady Kavs 44-37 Feb. 6 and 47-28 Jan. 13.
The Lady Knights went on to finish as the VCC tourney runners-up and made it to the second round of states.
