James Junious Hawkins, 68, of Victoria, VA, passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 9th, 2020. He was born October 11, 1951 to James Lowell Hawkins and Margaret Nevins Hawkins. Preceded in death by his wife Susan Jean Hoppe Hawkins, son James Robert Hawkins, and brother Russell Ernest Hawkins. He is survived by daughter Laurie Anne Groves, one grandchild, Christian Robert Groves, sister Mary K Burnett (Rabbit), 3 nieces and nephews, Brian Burnett (Elizabeth), Kenneth Burnett (Jennifer), Kara Burnett Comer (Travis), and 8 great nieces and nephews.

He retired from Norfolk and Western, Norfolk and Southern Railroad with 34 years of service.

A private graveside service was held Saturday, May 23rd at Lakeview Cemetery, Victoria, Va.
