Lynette Ann Ragsdale was born on May 3, 1960, to Margaret Boyd in Richmond.
Lynette was educated in the Lunenburg County School System.
At an early age she began her Christian walk at Blackwell Temple AME Zion Church, Kenbridge, where she remained a faithful and loyal Servant.
Lynette was blessed with two daughters, Kimberly and Kristie Ragsdale. Lynette loved to cook, watch game shows, talk on the phone, provide service in the name of the Lord and make people laugh.
Lynette worked for many years for Virginia Marble located in Kenbridge.
It was early Sunday morning, May 21, when Lynette quietly and peacefully answered God’s call to come home and be with him.
Lynette leaves to celebrate and thank God for her beautiful life; two devoted daughters, Kimberly Ragsdale of Kenbridge and Kristie Ragsdale of Chester; loving grandchildren, Zenia Hazelwood, Madison Ragsdale, Kennedy Ragsdale and Mason Ragsdale; two special aunts that were more like sisters, Constance Wallace of Fort Washington, Maryland and Pamela Ragsdale of Kenbridge. Lynette had a host of other dear and loving relatives and friends.
Funeral service was held on Friday, May 26, at 11 a.m., at Blackwell Temple AME Church, Kenbridge, Rev. Rebecca Griffin, Eulogist.
S.P. Jones and Son Funeral Home, Kenbridge, served the family.
