A Box of Love: From Psalm 19, we reflect on the beauty of Jesus

“Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in Thy sight, O LORD. my strength, and my redeemer.” — Psalm 19:14.
I am reflecting on Jesus’ blessings today. He has blessed me so many times that I have lost count. I left Victoria at 5 a.m. with Beulah and Mann to catch the Amtrak. However, what caught my eye was the sky. It was a beautiful two-tone blue and changed colors about fifty times before we reached the station. The sky has always fascinated me, and I believe that Jesus speaks to me and calms my spirit whenever I look at it.
I love to talk about the people I meet on the train. When I got on the train, a woman was sitting alone, and we began to talk. This was her first time riding the train, and she was frightened. I asked her to move over to my seat to sit with me. We began to talk, and as we talked, she relaxed. When she left, she thanked me for helping her relax. Thank You, Jesus, for helping me aid someone today.
I don’t always help others, sometimes strangers assist me. For example, a young girl recently helped me put my luggage on a rack and even asked if I needed more help. I’m grateful for all the blessings that Jesus has given me and the opportunities to meet and interact with others. Jesus blesses us in many ways, but the ways I love best are meeting new people and looking into the sky. Try looking up.
Please take a moment to read through Psalm 19 or look up at the sky next time you’re outside. You’ll be amazed by the beauty of Jesus’ creation and love.
Be blessed in Jesus’ name.
