Irvin Lee Hagaman, 78 of Victoria, joined his family in Heaven on May 14. He was the son of the late Robert Hugh Hagaman Sr., and Ruby Lee Mylum Hagaman and brother of the late, Robert Hugh Hagaman Jr., Jimmy Hagaman and Louise Hagaman Cox.
He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Brenda Jordan Hagaman; his children, Shannon Hagaman, Jason Hagaman (Lori), Robbie Hagaman (Katey), Tony Craven and Crystal Hamlett. He was “Pop” to Kaela Hagaman, Parker Hamlett, Alena Hamlett, Cole Hagaman, Peyton Craven, Rowan Hagaman, Caleb Hamlett, Boyer Hagaman, Doss Hagaman and Stuart Mae Hagaman. Also surviving is a brother, Edward Hagaman (Carol); Jimmy’s wife, Nancy and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.
Irvin honorably served our country in the U.S. Army. Much of his service was with the military police. He was a member of VFW Auxiliary Post 9954. He retired as owner of J&H Construction. He will always be remembered for the love he had for his family, his country and his community. He was always willing to help anyone who needed it. In his younger days he and Herb, his Grand Nite Champion, were avid coon hunters. He enjoyed fishing, golfing and being around the ball field, umpiring, coaching or just watching the game. The Central Chargers have lost one of their biggest fans.
Graveside funeral services will be held 2 p.m., Friday, May 17, at the Lakeview Cemetery, Victoria. In lieu of flowers please consider donations to the Semper FI and Americas Fund. www.thefund.org
