“Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in Thy sight, O Lord, my strength, and my redeemer.” Psalm 20:14.

What is a dream? A dream is a series of thoughts, images, and sensations occurring in a person’s mind during sleep.

Have you ever had a terrifying dream? Well, I did last night. I was at a conference, and everything was out of service. The place had outdoor toilets.” On my journey to the toilet, I prayed, “Lord, please don’t let me see any snakes on the way or in the toilet. When I arrived, the building looked like an old outhouse. A man came out on the right side of the building and walked toward me without saying a word, and I kept going. Soon, I met three men in a car, and one came toward me, but I kept going. The closer I got, the more terrified I became, but I prayed. Out of nowhere, a woman came and beat the man with a rope, and I escaped, but we acknowledged with mouthing thank you. Jesus is there at all times, even in our dreams.

I believe dreams are a warning about future events. As a child, I had three dreams about each of my great-uncles’ deaths. I told my mother, thank God, I could tell her anything. At first, she thought I was just dreaming, but after the second, she listened carefully to my dreams.

Jesus talks to us in our dreams when everything is quiet and peaceful. Let’s try to pay attention to our dreams because Jesus protects us while we sleep.

Jesus is an amazing God, Shepherd, Protector, Father, or whatever name in the time of need. Jesus wants us to know who He is, not just His name, but truly know Him.

Jesus said, “My sheep hear my Voice, and I know them, and they follow me.”

Be blessed in Jesus’ name.
