Linda Melissa Smith

Linda Melissa Smith, 43, of Richmond, died June 24. She was preceded in death by her father, Ronnie Smith and her grandparents. 

Surviving are her mother, Mary F. Smith of Kenbridge; sister, Shalonda S. Blake (Rickey), two aunts, Tracey Scott (David) and Sheryl Davis; two uncles, Harvey Smith and Beverly C. Fowlkes (Gertrude Hargrove); two nephews, Jah’Kari and Charles Blake; niece, Alexis Blake; other relatives and friends each of whom held a special place in her heart. Among those closest to her were her forever best friend, Nicole Rouse; great aunt, Martha Campbell; beloved “aunt by love”, Virginia Hendrick and honorary brother, Corey Young. Linda leaves countless cherished memories and  meaningful conversations and moments she shared with each person in her own extraordinary way.  

Remains rest at Scott’s Funeral Home, 115 E. Brookland Park Blvd., where viewing will be held from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. Thursday, July 3. Viewing will also be held from 10 a.m. until 11:45 a.m. Saturday, July 5, at Cornerstone Deliverance, 3416 Blackstone Road, Kenbridge, followed by funeral services at noon. Interment Fowlkes Family Cemetery.
