The Kenston Forest junior varsity and varsity cross-country teams traveled to Pocahontas State Park for the VCC Championship Meet  Oct. 26. Seven runners achieved personal records at the meet, Emily Hawthorne and Ryan Davis, were awarded All Academic for the season. Charlotte Walker earned an All-Conference award. Junior varsity runner, Peyton Vaught placed second in the JV Boys division. It has been a great season for all the KFS cross-country runners. The cross-country coaches were Emily Townsend, Donna King and assistant Ron Kent. Congratulations to the runners on achieving personal records.
