Encouraged by “A Box Of Love”

Dear Editor,

O come let us adore Him, O come let us adore Him, O come let us adore Him, Christ the Lord.

I have been encouraged and impressed by reading The Kenbridge-Victoria Dispatch each week and found “A Box Of Love,” which is written by Mrs. Mary Simmons, who is a columnist for the paper.

I applaud her very much for taking the time each week to write an article on L.O.V.E., something that our world needs more of. The columnist here uses a variety of topics each week about things she has experienced throughout her life and even now. I had the distinct pleasure of meeting Mrs. Simmons back this fall at one of our Democratic meetings. What a joy it was to have met her personally. I hope everyone that receives the paper will read it so that we all may apply this “Box of Love” to our everyday lives. By reaching out beyond the “Break,” we can give and show LOVE in ways to remind ourselves that we are all God’s children. John 15:12: “This is my commandment that you love one another as I have loved you.” For at this glorious holiday season of Advent, this is the perfect time to give love at Christmas because Christ Thy Savior was born. What more can we ask for than “A Box of Love” in a manger. Mrs. Simmons, each week as you write and speak about love, just know you are helping someone somewhere somehow.

May God continue to be a blessing to you and your families. My friends at the end of the day, it’s all about thy love. To God we give all thy glory.

With Love,

Luevenia Jackson
