Dixie Softball has established schedules for its 2018 District 1 tournaments, according to Dixie Softball District 1 Director Tony Matthews, who formerly served as the commissioner of Lunenburg Girls’ Softball. He noted that the Angels tournament for District 1 would begin June 15 and would be held in Brunswick.

The District 1 tournaments for Darlings, Ponytails and Belles will begin June 22, and they will all be held in Dinwiddie.

“Anyone who wants to umpire or knows of a Dixie-registered ump that wants to help, have them contact me to get on the rotation,” Matthews wrote in an email. “State tournament locations will be decided at our upcoming state meeting in Lynchburg.”
