4-H fun day in the park

The Lunenburg Office of Virginia Cooperative Extension will be offering a 4-H Fun Day in the Park, May 26, from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. at the Victoria Railroad Park, Victoria. Youth of all ages are welcome. Activities are free of charge. Stations will be set up throughout the park that will showcase what Virginia 4-H has to offer. Pickup your Passport and then start exploring the opportunities offered by the Virginia 4-H Program. At each station, you will get a stamp. Once you have received all of your stamps, you will get a chance to win a free prize. You can also sign-up to be part of the 4-H program at this event and get all of the forms that you will need that day. Stations will be on the following topics. Shooting sports (archery); livestock judging and showing; Virginia horse program; STEM; 4-H camp; 4-H cloverbud program; food challenge and healthy eating and natural resources. At some of the stations, a friendly competition will be taking place and a lucky winner will be taking home a $25 gift card.
