The Parker Oil Company office, located at 362 K-V Road will close, Parker Oil representative confirmed. Jerry Moore with Parker Oil said the company recently conducted a study and found that three different plants deliver to customers in the Victoria area. “In an effort to consolidate our resources and better serve our customers in the area we will be closing our Victoria Office in the near future and consolidate it with another close plant,” Moore said in a statement. “Although we are closing our office we are retaining all staff and drivers of the office to another plant and we will continue to serve our customers in Victoria and the surrounding area.” “Nothing will change in regards to deliveries, service and dedication to our customers that they have come to expect,” Moore said. “We will continue to use the site for storage and loading of products, this will include keeping our Fuel Freedom pumps open.” The Fuel Freedom program allows participants with specialized Fuel Freedom cards to receive fueling at Parker Oil locations. There are five full-time employees at the Victoria location, Moore said. Moore said a closure date has not been finalized.
