I married my husband 60 years ago and became a wife, eventually a mother, a grandmother and even a great-grandmother. Nothing makes me prouder than my family, but there was a question that kept lingering within me, who am I?

I am called by many names but who am I really? Although I love my entire family, there is so much more to me than just my family. I began talking to Jesus asking Him who I am and to give me clarity on what it is He would have me do.

I realized that there are many things in my life that is unforeseen. I began to think of all people and the circumstances that have helped to make me the person I am today. I started thanking Jesus for my life and all the things that He has done and is doing for me. I don’t know where Jesus is leading me, but I know He has something special in store for me.

The following scriptures give me encouragement as I search for my destiny.

Jerimiah 29:11-14 NIV

For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart. I will be found by you,” declares the Lord, “and will bring you back from captivity. I will gather you from all the nations and places where I have banished you,” declares the Lord, “and will bring you back to the place from which I carried you into exile.”

And Jeremiah 33:3 NIV

“Call to me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know.”

Jesus is taking me to a new level. What is it Lord, you want of me? I do not know, but one thing that I’m sure of — I’m a child of the King and a queen in His Kingdom. Be bless in Jesus’ name.
