Tropical Storm Michael will continue to impact the schedule of school and school-related activities in the county Monday.
Lunenburg County Public Schools announced on its Facebook page Sunday afternoon that schools “will be closed Monday, October 15th due to power outages and road closures. 12-month employees use code 12 dash 0.”
The varsity football game between Central High School (4-3) and visiting Prince Edward County High School (3-3) had been reset for 7 p.m. Monday but has now been postponed more than a week to Tuesday, Oct. 23, at 7 p.m.
