The Town of Kenbridge is in the process of repairing water lines, a process that has caused, according to social media posts on the Town of Kenbridge’s page, some residents to lose water.

Town officials cited that water line repairs were expected to begin Sunday morning. At approximately noon Sunday, town officials said on social media that there was not an estimated time of completion and cited that crews were working diligently to repair the water lines.

At approximately 5:15 p.m. town officials said repairs are more massive than expected.

“Maintenance had no idea how bad they would be until they found the exact problem which is underground,” town officials cited. “Unfortunately, once it is repaired, another spot breaks. Again, we appreciate your understanding and patience. They are working diligently in the cold to repair it as soon as they can.”

Town officials said Precision Pipes is assisting with the repairs.
