There comes a time when you have to cry out to the Lord, saying “Lord, which way do I go? There’s a left road and there’s a right road; a right way and a wrong way; which path do I take?”

There have been many times when I tried to make it on my own and made the wrong decisions in the process. I find I can no longer do it on my own so I consistently ask Jesus for help. My cries are getting stronger and stronger, louder and louder. When I reach the boiling point, that’s when Jesus steps in. He says, “I heard your prayers and I’m here, be patient my child everything is all right.”

Sometimes when I’m lying in bed I feel as though Jesus is speaking to me and I want to capture it. I jump out of bed and run to my computer and type the words while they are fresh in my mind. I must write what He is saying because He wants us to know that He always hears us even when sometimes it doesn’t seem as if He’s listening. Even in the hardest times when everything around us is failing and it seems there is nowhere to turn, just say Jesus and feel the tension begin to fade. Jesus wants our life to shine for Him and wants us to bring our friends to Him. Our life is on display every day and someone is watching. We can either bring them to Christ or we can turn them away, the choice is in our hands.

I have heard people say that serving Jesus is easy but I have to disagree. I think serving Jesus is the hardest thing I’ve ever done but also the most enjoyable thing I’ve ever done and I have no regrets. Jesus is the friend you can tell everything to, He’ll listen and you don’t have to worry about Him telling someone else your business or judging you, or not having time for you. He listens when I’m complaining and when I happily praising Him. When I say it’s hard serving Jesus, I’m simply saying there are things we can no longer do because we do not belong to ourselves but to Him and our lives should reflect that. I don’t mean we will do everything correct but He gives us a second chance to erase the mistakes.

I have to constantly pray and ask for forgiveness for my sins. Jesus knows each of us and He knows our hearts. He knows the trials and the temptations that we face and He’s there to aid us in whatever we need. Have faith and know that all is well. I have learned to say all is well even when the sky is falling.

Remember Jesus cannot enter unless invited so please invite Him in and you will find that everything that seems so hard will eventually pass away.
