The Kenbridge Town Council voted to approve a request to rezone a parcel of East Sixth Avenue in the Town of Kenbridge in order for the applicant to construct apartments.

Vice Mayor Ken Blackburn said the Kenbridge Planning Commission recommended rezoning the Sixth Avenue parcel.

Members of the town council voted unanimously to approve the rezoning

The rezoning is proposed to take place along E. Sixth Avenue, between S. Grace Street and 533 E. Sixth Ave.

The property at this location was proposed to be rezoned from Residential-20, Single Family to Residential-5, Multi-Family.
