Delegate Tommy Wright recently announced that Nancy Snead will be retiring as his legislative assistant. Snead has served as the legislative assistant to Wright since 2001.

“Nancy’s service to the people of the 61st House of Delegates district has been exceptional over the past 19 years, and has played a critical role in making our office run smoothly while in Richmond and in the district when we are not in session,” said Delegate Wright.

The release went on to say, “Nancy has been very active in the community with many volunteer roles, and she plans to continue to dedicate her time and energy to important causes and organizations.”

Joining Wright’s team to serve as his new legislative assistant is Tammy Brankley Mulchi of Clarksville, Virginia. Brankley Mulchi has over 35 years’ experience as a small-business owner and is a licensed Realtor® with United Country Virginia Realty. She previously served as a legislative assistant to Senator Frank Ruff from 1994 until 2006.

Wright stated that “while Nancy’s retirement is very bittersweet for me and my family, I am looking forward to this new chapter and believe Tammy will do a great job as she takes over her service to the people of the district. Tammy brings a great deal of legislative and business experience to our office.”
