There is so much in my life that I am thankful for.
Jesus’ blessings seem to surround me all the time. Sometimes I just sit back and I say “wow, thank You Jesus for Your love and thank You for all of Your blessings.”
Last night I was in my room thanking Jesus for giving me the power to speak Saturday morning at Brackenville Center in Wilmington, Delaware.
While thanking Him, I felt His presence. It was such a wonderful feeling, the kind of feeling I only get when I feel His love surrounding me. I started dancing, singing and crying all at the same time. I was feeling so warm, comfortable and loved, because I believe that Jesus is pleased that I am trying to do His Will.
That next morning at 6 a.m., while lying in bed talking to my daughter on the phone, I happened to look at the window where four birds were sitting on my windowsill. They were singing such a beautiful song that all I could do was say, “Thank You Jesus for allowing me to see and hear such a blessing. Thank You Father for loving me so much that You are always willing to share your beauty with me.”
Later on that day, I had a doctor’s appointment, and after running a few tests she gave me a clean bill of health. Jesus, You hit that one out of the ballpark, because there could have been problems, but You said, “No, not today my child. Today is a day of sunshine and I want you to bask in all its glory.”
Leaving the doctor’s office, my daughter needed to go to the store for a few things. I decided to stay in the car. Once again, blessings were abundant. There was such beautiful scenery lined up on both sides of the street. The trees looked beautiful and the sun was hitting the top of them just right. I said, “God, how do You always manage to outdo Yourself?” Just when I think I have seen all the beauty He has to offer, He always shows me that there is so much more to see.
Let’s take the time to thank Jesus for loving us and providing so many blessings. Jesus’ blessings are all around us and while I was talking about the blessings he provides me, any of you can easily switch out my name and put yours in there, because he does so much for all of us with no respect for anyone.
Jeremiah 33:3 Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and show thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not.
Be blessed in Jesus’ name.
