Rites held for Franklin R. ‘Frank’ Gallion Sr.

Franklin R. “Frank” Gallion Sr., 82, of Victoria, Va. died May 15, 2016. He was the husband of the late Georgie Lee Bowman Gallion. He is survived by his children; Teresa Lawson (Tommy), Ray Gallion (Susan) and Kelly Gallion (Djuna); eight grandchildren, Matthew, Erick, Lauren, James, Jared, Joseph, Rebecca and Bethany. and two sisters; Mildred Osborne and Alice Parrish. Frank was former co-owner and operator of Gallion and Richards Appliance and former waste water supervisor for the Town of Victoria. Frank was a former member and deacon of Tussekiah Baptist Church, former member of Victoria Fire and Rescue, past member and president of Victoria Chamber of Commerce and former recipient of the Chamber’s Citizen of the Year Award and also a former member of the Victoria Rotary Club. The family will receive friends Thursday from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the home of Tommy and Teresa Lawson, 1729 Gallion town Road, Victoria. Graveside services will be held Friday, May 20, 2016 at 1 p.m. in the Lakeview Cemetery, Victoria.
