The Delta Alpha Chapter of the Virginia State Organization of The Delta Kappa Gamma Society International met on December 6 at the Ripberger Public Library in Kenbridge. At the meeting, Connie C. Krupa was presented with a donation of $350 from the Chapter by the treasurer, Brenda Edwards-Wade. 

Krupa is the Children’s Program Coordinator for the Lunenburg County Public Library System. The donation will support the purchase of materials for future programs, educational toys, books to be donated to local classrooms, and snacks for Family Night Programs. Krupa, a member of Delta Alpha, often conducts interesting programs for the chapter. 

Delta Kappa Gamma is a honorary organization for outstanding women educators, The Delta Alpha Chapter is composed of teachers who live and/or work in several South Central Virginia counties.
