Mason Ruth King, 79, died Tuesday, Jan. 16. She was a manager for Deluxe Check Printers. 

She is survived by a sister, Sheffie Blake of Orlando, Florida; three nieces, Margaret Ann Simmons of South Hill, Sylvia Williams of Richmond and Patti Harris of Victoria and two nephews, Marshall Jackson of Colonial Heights and Johnny Gregory of Chesterfield. 

She is predeceased by her husband, Winton Neal King; a nephew, Kenny Gregory and six sisters, Mildred Carter, Myrtle Reamey, Margaret Gregory, Jean Williams, Mary Jackson and Bobbi Jo Pope. 

A special thanks is given to Robert Powell and Mrs. King’s caregivers, Queen, Flossie, Nell, Jo Ann, Brenda, Eleanor, Debra, Linda, Sabrina and special friends; Delphine and Brenda. 

A funeral service was held Sunday, Jan. 21, at 2 p.m., at the Crowder–Hite–Crews Funeral Home Chapel with interment at Antioch Methodist Church Cemetery, Kenbridge. A visitation was held Saturday, Jan. 20, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Crowder–Hite– Crews Funeral Home.
