LNRTA welcomes new members

The Lunenburg Nottoway Retired Teachers Association (LNRTA) met on Oct. 17 at the Victoria Public Library. New members joining the unit have contributed many years of experience to education. They are Wanda Hill with 34 years in education, David Dalton with more than 24, Mary Pat Johnson with 31, Carolyn Newbill with 34 years and April Hawkes with 28. The unit’s membership set goals and projects for the 2024-25 year. Along with contributing to the community, President Ruby Ingram said that the group looks forward to another productive year centered around its mission of maintaining and improving the social, educational, economic and recreational welfare of retired educators.
