New Student Orientation (NSO) will take place on both main campuses of Southside Virginia Community College in August. New students, parents and mentors are encouraged to attend an NSO closest to them. Students will learn about SVCC services, tour the campus, complete the enrollment process and get a student ID card. Orientation dates are: Aug. 4 at 5:30 p.m. at the Alberta campus; Aug. 5 at 10 a.m. at the Keysville campus; Aug. 18 at 5:30 p.m. at the Keysville campus; and Aug. 19 at 10 a.m. at the Alberta cmaps. The New Student Orientation program is hosted by student services on each campus of SVCC.
