New leadership appointments will be made during an organizational meeting for the Lunenburg County School Board on Monday.
The board will vote on a new chairperson and vice chairperson during the meeting, according to Division Superintendent Charles Berkeley.
Also during the meeting, members will vote on appointments to various committees and the superintendent’s designee for when Berkeley is unavailable.
“The board will appoint a clerk and deputy clerk to the board along with dates and times for board meetings and expulsion hearings,” Berkeley said.
The meeting will be held in Room 104 at Central High School. A closed session will begin at 7 p.m. The meeting will open to the public at 7:30 p.m.
