JULY 24-28

VBS AT KENBRIDGE UNITED METHODIST, 5:30 p.m. entitled “What’s in the Bible?” Kids ages 2 years through entering sixth grade are invited to join us to experience the Bible through videos, games, crafts and music. The fun begins each night with a light dinner. The program runs from 6-8 p.m. Families are welcome to join us for Friday’s program that will start at 6 p.m. with a small mission project and then dinner. REVIVAL SERVICES, 7:30 p.m. at the Macedonia Baptist Church, Keysville. Guest revivalist for the week will be the Rev. Tyrone Craighead, of Saxe. Different choirs will perform each night. Worship service will begin at 8 p.m. All are welcome.

MEETING, 6 p.m. of the Lunenburg County Public Library System Board of Trustees at the Victoria Public Library. This meeting is open to the public.

JULY 29

GOSPEL MUSICAL PROGRAM, 4 p.m. at the Pleasant Oak Baptist Church entitled “Shouting Down The Aisles.” Guest will be The Springfield Travelers, The Royal Supremes, The Dynamique Singers of Faith and Nu Beginning. Casual dress. Refreshments will be served.

JULY 30

A MESSAGE OF MUSIC, 11 a.m., at Union Grove Baptist Church, 2006 County Line Road, Keysville, followed by a covered dish luncheon. Musical guests are The Crestmen. All are invited.

ANNIVERSARY, 3 p.m. of The Crawely Sisters at Macedonia Baptist Church, Route 40, Keysville. Different groups will be singing. Come out and help us celebrate this blessed day. Everyone is welcome.

FIRST CHOIR ANNIVERSARY, 3 p.m. of the New Galilee Baptist Church’s inspirational choir at the church, located at 4565 Plank Road, Kenbridge. Come and worship with us as we lift up the name of Jesus through song and praise. The Rev. Dr. Elnora W. Miller, pastor.

JULY 31-AUGUST 3

VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL, Dundas Baptist Church, 3953 Dundas Road, Dundas. Supper will be served at 5:30 p.m. with classes from 6-8:30 p.m. This year’s theme will be Discovering the God of the Universe. All ages are welcome.

AUGUST 5

BAKE SALE, 8 a.m. at Salem Christian Church, Fort Mitchell. There will be sausage/ham biscuits, pies, cakes and much more.

AUGUST 6

74TH ALLEN FAMILY REUNION will be held at College Presbyterian Church, Hampden Sydney. Those wishing to attend the service at 11 a.m. and worship with the College Church congregation may do so. After the service, the Allen family and friends will meet in the church’s Thompson Hall for lunch, fellowship and a business meeting at approximately 12:30 p.m. Please bring a covered dish to share.

SEVENTH YEAR CHURCH ANNIVERSARY, 3 p.m. of Faith Worship Center, at Peoples Community Center, 1021 Mecklenburg Ave., Victoria. Guest speaker will be Apostle Trina Stephenson, Women of God Ministries, of Silver Springs, Maryland. Dinner will be served.

HOMECOMING, 11 a.m. at New Galilee Baptist Church. The Rev. Violet Oliver will deliver the message along with the First Baptist Choir and church family.

REVIVAL/HOMECOMING, 11 a.m. at Oakland Christian Church, 3637 Brickland Road. The Gloryland Quartet will be performing. Dinner on the ground.

SERVICES, 11 a.m. every first and third Sunday of the month for New Redeemed Tabernacle at the Apex Community Center, 275 George Washington Highway, Charlotte Court House.

FAMILY REUNION, 12:30 p.m. of the Wallace/Overton/Ashworth families with a covered dish meal at the VFW Hall, Victoria.

SEPTEMBER 23

CLASS REUNION, 6 p.m. of the Nottoway Senior High Class of 1977. Cocktails and dinner will be held at the Blackstone Herb Cottage. Cost is $35.
