Central High School’s junior varsity (JV) and varsity girls volleyball teams have registered two victories apiece this season as of Monday. Senior outside hitter Kaylee Williams, in photo on bottom, and the rest of the varsity Lady Chargers improved to 2-4 with a 3-0 victory over visiting Sussex Central High School on Monday. Sophomore middle hitter Hannah Breedlove, in photo on top, and the JV Central squad recovered from an 0-2 start to win both of its matches last week, topping visiting Cumberland 2-0 on Sept. 5 and defeating visiting Bluestone 2-0 on Thursday. After visiting Randolph-Henry on Tuesday, Central’s JV and varsity teams will visit Prince Edward on Thursday at 5:30 and 7 p.m., respectively.
