Wayne Thomas Lewis

Wayne Thomas LewisWayne Thomas Lewis Sr., 78 of Green Bay, went to be with the Lord on Oct. 26. He was the son of the late Ivon and Ruby Lewis and brother of the late Phyllis Lewis. 

He is survived by his wife of 51 years Louise Pendleton Lewis; his daughter, Tiffany Foley (Larry); his son, Tommy Lewis (Ashley) all of Victoria; he was Papa to Abby, TJ (Zoe), Madalyn, Samantha, AJ and step-grandchildren, Skyler Foley and Dustin Foley. Also surviving are nieces, a nephew and friends. 

Wayne grew up in Norfolk and graduated from Maury High School. He retired from the Piedmont Geriatric Hospital maintenance department. He was always willing to lend a helping hand to those who needed it. He enjoyed watching game shows on TV, shopping at Trader Joe’s with his daughter, going out to eat at Sushi King and hanging out with his son at Lewis Welding. He dearly loved spending time with his family. 

Wayne was a devoted member of the Crewe Church of the Nazarene where the family will receive friends Friday, Nov. 3, from 4 p.m. until the start of services at 5 p.m. In lieu of flowers please consider donations to Crewe Church of the Nazarene, 609 W. Carolina Avenue, Crewe, Virginia 23930.
