The 21st Century Afterschool Program is sponsoring a job fair for the public on Tuesday, March 29, at Park View Middle School. In order to make this a worthwhile event for local residents, employers throughout Southside Virginia are encouraged to come.
There is no charge for participants, and a network lunch will be available for employers from 12-1 p.m. The event will be open to the public from 1:30-4:30 p.m.
Individuals should come to the job fair prepared to meet with employers and turn in written applications or apply online. The school will be providing a technology center on-site for those who need access to the Internet to apply for positions online.
This will be the fifth annual job fair held at Park View Middle School, located at 365 Dockery Road in South Hill.
