The Town of Kenbridge reported a water line break Tuesday after reports of line breakages Sunday that required extensive repairs.

Town officials said that residents can expect reduced or no water pressure beginning at 2 p.m.

“A small break occurred today, believed to be a result of pressure from the rains and heavy traffic on the site of repair,” Town Manager Robyn Fowler said. “As of this time, no additional water outages have occurred since Sunday.”

Fowler said repairs Sunday took longer than expected.

“Once one spot was repaired, another would break,” Fowler said. “Maintenance worked on it for 14 hours.”
