Daniel Campus of Southside Virginia Community College in Keysville. The public is welcome to attend and take advantage of blood pressure checks, blood sugar and body mass screenings, health information and healthy snacks.

LUNENBURG COUNTY HISTORICAL SOCIETY MEETING, 2 p.m. at the Ripberger Public Library, Kenbridge. Greg Eanes, mayor of Crewe, lecturer at Hampden-Sydney College and retired Air Force colonel, will discuss Tarleton’s Southside Raid, based on his book of the same name. This British raid took place during the last months of the American Revolution and impacted Lunenburg County. Everyone welcome.
