The Pregnancy Support Center (PSC) of Southside Virginia has a new Farmville home.
PSC, which covers the counties of Appomattox, Buckingham, Cumberland, Amelia, Nottoway, Lunenburg, Charlotte, and Prince Edward, is now located at 1101 East Third Street, Farmville.
“We’ve had a lot of growth of the number of clients and some new services,” PSC executive director Kathleen Holsopple said. “Our new space allows us to meet our growing needs and offers additional parking and better visibility.”
According to Holsopple, PSC offers pregnancy testing, prenatal, infant care, parenting classes, and baby supplies.
“Our goal is to provide information, compassion and hope to those facing pregnancy decisions and in need of parenting classes,” Holsopple said. “We do this through one-on-one support for each client and incentive-based classes. All of our services are free and confidential.”
Since its inception in 1984, PSC has assisted more than 8,000 clients.
