To all Lunenburg County residents: As holiday time is on the horizon, and many people are thinking about giving, I would like to suggest donating to the Lunenburg Health Service (LHS) which provides nursing visits and medical equipment at no charge to Lunenburg County residents, without any government funding.

I am not affiliated with LHS other than utilizing its free loaner service for some of my home health physical therapy patients for items like walkers or bedside commodes which their insurance won’t cover, but I am a big fan.

When you make a financial or no longer used equipment donation to LHS (PO Box 121, Victoria, VA 23974) you know where your gift is going: it is staying right here in our county, helping our residents. It could be a way for you to “pay it forward” because someday you or someone in your family might need those services.
