Rev. Eduardo Carrillo

The Delta Alpha Chapter of The Delta Kappa Gamma Society International, an honorary educational organization, had as its guest speaker at its October meeting The Rev. Eduardo Carrillo, who is currently serving as the pastor of Antioch United Methodist Church in Lunenburg County. Pastor Eduardo comes from a Methodist home in Mexico where his dad is also a pastor. A young man of 33, Pastor Eduardo has done all of his studies since high school in the United States. He graduated with a B.A. from Ferrum College and an M.Div. from Wesley Theological Seminary. He has been serving in ministry since 2010 in Annandale UMC in Northern Virginia. Because of the large Mexican population in Southside Virginia, he was particularly helpful in relaying to the educators – both retired and those currently in the classroom – ways that they could help the Spanish-speaking students in area schools.
