Tammi Lee Kornegay was recently appointed assistant principal at the Beaverdam Elementary School in Raleigh, North Carolina. Mrs. Kornegay is a 1990 graduate of Central High School of Lunenburg County. She received a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from Winston-Salem State University and Masters in School Administration from East Carolina University. She has been employed as a math teacher and math instructional coach. Mrs. Kornegay resides with her husband and two children in Clayton, North Carolina. She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Lee, Jr. of Kenbridge.
