YOUTH REVIVAL, 7 p.m. nightly at The Unity Baptist Church, Kenbridge. There will be different speakers each night. All are welcome.

NOVEMBER 11

BRUNSWICK STEW FUNDRAISER, 8 a.m. to noon at Palmer Springs Volunteer Fire Department, 1697 Palmer Springs Road. Preorders call 434-689-2631 or 434-689-2661. Stewmaster is Larry Clark.

BUDDY POPPIES, will be distributed by the VFW Auxiliary Post 9954 on Veterans Day, between 8 – 11 a.m. in the Towns of Victoria and Kenbridge. Donations will help our local Veterans and their families.

OPEN HOUSE, 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. at VFW Post 9954 to view the new addition. Come and share hot dogs, chips, soft drinks and time with friends. The post home is located at 1000 Marshall Ave., Victoria.

EIGHTH ANNIVERSARY, of New Beginnings of Chase City, at the First Baptist Church in LaCrosse Va. Appearing on the program will be Lil Ms. Makayla Young, Tabernacle Baptist Church Sanctuary Choir, The Aires of Heaven, The Bullock Family, The Vanhook Specials, The Anointed Believers, and the Heavenly Beams. Come out and worship with us.

NOVEMBER 12

ANNUAL MISSIONARY DAY, 11 a.m. of New Grove Baptist Church will be observed during the morning worship service.

ORDINATION TO DEACONSHIP SERVICE, 3 p.m. for Deacon-Elect CasSandra Harris King and Deacon-Elect Betty Neblett Spencer. The guest preacher will be the Rev. Irene Allen accompanied by Mt. Gazerine Baptist Church. Dinner will be served.

OBSERVANCE OF VETERANS DAY, 11 a.m. at The Mt. Bethel Baptist Church. Everyone is welcome especially the Veterans.

CHURCH ANNIVERSARY, 3 p .m. at The Mt. Bethel Baptist Church. The Rev. Kenneth Hawkes and the Mt. Calvary Baptist Church family, Crewe, will be the guest. Dinner will be served between services at 1:30 p.m.

MOVIE NIGHT, 5 p.m. at The Victoria Church of the Nazarene, 1404 Main St., Victoria in the fellowship hall. movie will be “Priceless.” Also, the movie “The Pirates Who Don’t Do Anything” will be shown to children ages 12 and under in the church annex. All are welcome. Bring a snack to share.

87TH CHURCH ANNIVERSARY, 3 p.m. of The Unity Baptist Church, Kenbridge. The Blackstone Community Chorus and The First Baptist Church Choir of Victoria will be the guest. All are welcome.

GIRL SCOUT RECRUITMENT, 6:30 p.m. for The Southside Girl Scout Service Unit for Lunenburg girls grades K-12 and for potential volunteers at the Victoria Fire and Rescue building.
