Power outages reported in Lunenburg County

Southside Electric Cooperative (SEC) and Dominion Energy are reporting power outages in Lunenburg County.
On its Web Outage Viewer as of 10:15 a.m. on Sunday, SEC was reporting that 120 customers were without power in Lunenburg County.
“We are working to resolve all outages as quickly and effectively as possible,” SEC officials stated on the Web Outage Viewer.
SEC customers should call 1-866-878-5514 to report an outage.
As of 10:15 a.m. on Sunday, Dominion Energy was reporting on its website that 53 of its customers were without power in Lunenburg County.
“Dominion Energy crews continue to restore power as quickly and safely as possible to customers affected by inclement weather that impacted our service territory on Friday, Dec. 8,” officials said in a release on Dominion’s website.

“Make sure to stay at least 30 feet away from all downed power lines,” Dominion officials said.
