JANUARY 14
WORSHIP SERVICE, 11 a.m. at Cedar Creek Baptist Church, 2104 Jonesboro Road, Kenbridge, VA with speaker the Rev. Darrell K. Jones, Kingdom Building Fellowship, New Kent, Virginia.
MARTIN LUTHER KING, JR. SERVICE, noon at Saint Matthew’s Baptist Church in Kenbridge. Speaker will be Bishop James E. Shelton, Jr. , Pastor of the Cornerstone of Deliverance Church. Music will be provided by the Renowned Blackstone Chorus. A free will scholarship offering will be taken. The community is welcome.
MOVIE NIGHT, 5 p.m. at the Victoria Church of the Nazarene in the fellowship hall. The movie “Second Chance” will be shown. All are welcome. Bring a snack to share.
JANUARY 20
BEGINNERS PHOTOGRAPHY CLASS, 9:30 a.m. at Victoria Public Library with instructor Robby Batte. Bring you camera.
JANUARY 25
FRIENDS OF VICTORIA LIBRARY TO MEET, 5 p.m. The t-shirt design contest is underway. We will discuss printing of the t-shirts and what to do for our 45th (Sapphire) Anniversary celebration in July. We are beginning to receive donations from supporters, and we hope the trend continues.
