RICHMOND — Governor-elect Ralph Northam announced Thursday key appointments for senior leadership positions within his administration.

Kelly Thomasson will continue serving the Northam administration as secretary of the Commonwealth. Traci DeShazor will continue serving as deputy secretary of the Commonwealth. Keyanna Conner will join the administration as secretary of administration.

Grindly Johnson will serve as deputy secretary of administration. She was appointed deputy secretary of transportation by Gov. Terry McAuliffe in 2014. Joe Damico will serve as Director of General Services. He earned a Bachelor’s of Mathematics/Computer Science from Longwood College. Damico has also earned a master’s of health administration and master’s of public administration from Virginia Commonwealth University.
