Two conditional use permits were recommended for approval by the Lunenburg Planning Commission during its meeting May 15, commission Chairman Buck Tharpe confirmed.
The first was for a personal services facility on property owned by Precision Pipes, LLC, which works with utility and sewer lines.
The property, located at 11944 Courthouse Road, is being requested by George Whittaker, the property lessee, to be used for a facility for small-scale rental for fewer than 100 guests for events.
The property is approximately 5 acres and had been the site of a former church, the public notice of the meeting cited.
The second permit was for a bull breeding and training facility for cattle “used for rodeo-style bucking-bull riding classes held by appointment only,” the public notice cited.
Cynthia Cappabianca with Let R Buck, LLC, owns the 45-acre property at 521 Mountain Road in Victoria where the program will be located.
Public hearings for the permits are set to take place for an upcoming Lunenburg County Board of Supervisors meeting.
