A storied gridiron rivalry had another epic chapter added to its ranks Saturday night when Central Lunenburg High School’s varsity football team blocked an extra-point attempt by visiting Nottoway High School in overtime to triumph 21-20 in both squads’ regular season finale.

The Chargers finish the 2018 regular season with a 6-4 record after starting 0-3. They will begin postseason play in the Region 1B tournament next week.
