Banquets scheduled to honor firefighters and Emergency Medical Services (EMS) are set for Saturday and February respectively.

Kenbridge Fire Department is scheduled to honor firefighters during its banquet Saturday evening. The event will begin with a social at 5 p.m., and a dinner at 6 p.m.

Kenbridge Fire Department Chief Dickie Harris said those awarded will be a surprise, and will be announced during the ceremony Saturday evening.

The banquet will be held at the fire department building located at 110 High St. in the Town of Kenbridge.

The Victoria Fire & Rescue Banquet is set to be held Saturday, Feb. 9. Additional information about the banquet will be available at a later date.
