The Piedmont Health District is offering free drive-thru COVID-19 testing Saturday, June 27, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at Central High School.

No appointment is needed but pre-registration for the testing is helpful for planning purposes. Pre-register at http://tinyurl.com/COVID-19-Registration

There is no insurance information needed to register or be eligible for the free testing.

Those participating in the testing are asked to wear a mask, maintain at least six feet of distance with other people at all times and inform the healthcare provider if you are currently experiencing symptoms of the coronavirus.

Lunenburg County has had 28 cases of COVID-19 positively diagnosed.
