“And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out My Spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams.” Acts 2:17.
According to the Sleep Foundation, “dreams are mental images or activities that occur during sleep, and they can have different meanings depending on the stage of sleep, your mood, and life experiences.”
In Gibeon (a city in Israel about four miles northwest of Jerusalem), the Lord appeared to Solomon in a dream by night; and God said, “Ask what I shall give thee,” according to 1 Kings 3:5.
I believe Jesus has given each of us a dream, something that is specifically for us, but sometimes, for one reason or another, we may not activate them. Ever since I can remember, I have dreamt of two things: being a motivational speaker and an entrepreneur. I saw myself carrying a briefcase, high heels, and tailored suits and speaking to the masses.
I may not have the high heels or the suits, but I do speak at churches and various programs. It is there that I provide motivation to both young and old. God is fulfilling that dream even though it may not be how I initially thought it would be. I also always wanted to have a business that I created, and in 2024, I finally made that happen. I created “GodCaresTshirts.com” because I believe more than anything that He does, and the world needs to know it.
This is a new year. Activate your dreams and ask the Lord to increase your territory. He has so much in store for you and me in 2024. Let’s go out and get it!
“And Jabez called on the God of Israel, saying, “Oh that thou wouldest bless me indeed, and enlarge my coast, and that Thine hand might be with me, and that Thou wouldest keep me from evil, that it may not grieve me! And God granted him that which he requested.” 1 Chronicles 4:10.
Be blessed in Jesus’ name.
