No better way to honor Jeter

During Victoria Fire and Rescue’s annual awards banquet, held Saturday at the firehouse, volunteers arranged a vacant set table honoring Harvey Jeter, a member of Victoria Fire and Rescue who died last year. Jeter, a longtime volunteer with the fire department, responded to numerous calls during his long tenure of service to the community through the department. We commend the volunteers for taking time to honor such a noble man who contributed greatly to the development of fire fighters, rescue squad volunteers and the Lunenburg County community. We, too, salute Jeter. (Send us a “Pic Me Up” with names and information to PicMeUp@KVDispatch.com)
