GOSPEL SINGOUT, 4 p.m. at Saint Matthew’s Baptist Church, Kenbridge. Featured will be the OEB Restoration Choir, the Divine Male Chorus and the Youthful Dedication from the Greater New Life Church of Jesus, White Plains. These messengers of music are under the leadership of Apostle Elizabeth Bagley.

SEPTEMBER 17

MEN AND WOMEN MINISTRY SERVICE, 3 p.m. at Lone Oak Baptist Church. Morning worship starts at 11:30 a.m. and Sunday School at 10 a.m. The Rev. James mOrris, pastor of Triumph Baptist, Pamplin, will be the guest speaker. A fellowship dinner will be served.

21ST CHURCH ANNIVERSARY, 1:30 p.m. of the Rev. C.L. Hobbs and Mrs. Jean Hobbs at Mt. Bethel Baptist Church. Please select a color of the rainbow of your color to wear on that day. Everyone is welcome.

79TH USHER ANNIVERSARY, 3 p.m. at The Starlight Baptist Church. Guest will be the Rev. Sharon Baskerville, of Jerusalem Baptist Church with choir and ushers.

SEPTEMBER 23

CLASS REUNION, 6 p.m. of the Nottoway Senior High Class of 1977. Cocktails and dinner will be held at the Blackstone Herb Cottage. Cost is $35. Members may also attend the Nottoway High School home football game against Buckingham on Sept. 22. SERVICES AT CEDAR CREEK BAPTIST, 11 a.m. Preacher will be the Rev. Bryant A. Walker of Second Baptist Church, Chester. Sunday school starts at 10 a.m. The church is located at 2104 Jonesboro Road, Kenbridge.

HOMECOMING, 11 a.m. at Union Grove Baptist Church, 2006 County Line Road, Keysville. A musical program featuring The Powell Family Singers will perform with lunch following at noon. All are invited.

OCTOBER 7

OPPORTUNITY FUND SKEET CLASSIC, 8 a.m. at the Holiday Lake 4-H Educational Center in Appomattox County for graduating high school seniors in Southside Electric Cooperative’s (SEC) service area.
